ODI surges 61.8% in first half of 2016
China's non-financial outbound direct investment soared 61.8 percent year-on-year in the first seven months, data from the Ministry of Commerce showed on Wednesday. ODI from January to July hit 673.24 billion yuan ($102.75 billion), the ministry said in a statement. ODI in July alone reached $13.89 billion, down 9.5 percent month-on-month, according to the ministry.
