Cross-Straits Book Fair opens on Friday

The 12th Cross-Straits Book Fair will open in Taipei on Friday. The three-day fair is supported by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Television and Film. It is aimed at bolstering cooperation between Taipei and the mainland in culture. One million visitors are expected at this year's fair. More than 300 booths at the exhibition are dedicated for publishers and bookstores from the mainland.
