London brand Truefitt & Hill opened its first store in Shanghai Mansions in July. Holly Yang, general manager of Beijng Jinheda Trade Company, Truefitt & Hill's exclusive distributor in China, said that the brand brings high-end five-star grooming service for elite men to the local market.

The Luxury Collection Hotel, Changsha, is scheduled to open on Sept 28. The hotel, an investment by China Jinmao Holding Group Ltd, is designed to offer 310 spacious guestrooms and will be the first luxury international brand in the capital city of central China's Hunan province.

Following a refurbishment, China World Hotel Beijing has recently announced that all its guestrooms are now equipped with the latest PM2.5 air-filtration technology from industry leader Honeywell. PM2.5 refers to fine particles with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less that are hazardous to human health.
