Jade Rabbit signs off from the moon

"Hi! This could be the last greeting from me!"

The farewell message posted four days ago on Sina Weibo by user "Jade Rabbit Lunar Rover", China's lunar rover, caused a stir on China's social media, where Yutu and his antics have been hugely popular.

"The moon says it has prepared a long, long dream for me, and I'm wondering what the dream will be like - will I be a Mars explorer, or be sent back to Earth," the lunar rover said.
