Sky diver jumps 7,620m without a chute

A 42-year-old sky diver has made history by completing a 7,620-meter jump without using a parachute.

After a two-minute free fall, Luke Aikins landed dead center in a net 30 meters wide by 30 meters long on the outskirts of Simi Valley, California.

As cheers rang out, he quickly climbed out, walked over and hugged his wife, Monica, who had been watching from the ground with their 4-year-old son, Logan, and other family members.
