Lunar probe enters dormancy

China's first lunar probe Chang'e 3 entered its 33rd dormancy period on Thursday, a record for the longest work time by a lunar probe, according to the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, which is in charge of China's space programs. China sent the probe to the moon in December 2013. So far, it has collected a great amount of data and images of the moon, the administration said.
