China to host FOCAC summit follow-up
China will host a follow-up meeting to last December's FOCAC summit, according to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang. The meeting on delivering the outcomes of the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation will be held on Friday in Beijing. The forum in December agreed on 10 major areas of cooperation for the next three years, covering industrialization, agriculture and public health. Ministerial-level officials from 52 African countries will join Chinese officials at the meeting.
