Student leaders convicted

Three Hong Kong student activists who played prominent roles in an illegal assembly outside the city government's Tamar headquarters in September 2014 were found guilty on Thursday in Eastern Magistrates' Court. Joshua Wong Chi-fung and Alex Chow Yong-kang were convicted of taking part in an unlawful assembly. Nathan Law Kwun-chung was found guilty of inciting others to take part. The three were released on bail and are scheduled to reappear for sentencing on Aug 15.
