Society: Students give manhole covers a new look

Manhole covers are usually such an overlooked part of the landscape, but a group of university students in Luoyang, Henan province, has turned them into pieces of art. The students from the Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology are giving hundreds of manhole covers a new look by painting cartoons on them. More than 50 have already been painted, winning praise from other students.
