Distance runner Jo Pavey will become the first British track athlete to compete in five Olympics after she was named to the team for Rio on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old mother of two will run in the 10,000 meters after meeting the qualifying time at the European Championships last week.
Her time, only good enough for fifth spot in the final, was an astonishing 37 seconds faster than 24-year-old rival Kate Avery had managed this year.
