Medical team sent for peacekeepers

Three UN peacekeepers from China who were injured during violence in South Sudan on Sunday have been airlifted to a UN hospital in Kampala, capital of Uganda, the Ministry of National Defense said on Thursday. Of the two other peacekeepers injured in the attack, one has made a full recovery and the other remains in a UN hospital in South Sudan, the ministry said. The Chinese military sent a special medical plane on Thursday to transport the injured peacekeeper, according to the ministry. A team dispatched by the Chinese military to handle the matter arrived in Uganda on Thursday noon, the ministry said.
