Crozier heads Microsoft China
Microsoft Corp recently appointed Alain Crozier, also known as Ke Ruijie in Chinese, as the head and chief executive of Microsoft Greater China Region. Ke Ruijie joined Microsoft 23 years ago and has held various positions globally. He was appointed as the vice-president of Microsoft International and president of Microsoft France in July 2012. Before that, he was corporate vice-president and chief financial officer of the sales division. Microsoft is expecting him to use his past experience to take the local unit to the next level in a vibrant market that requires intense localization. Microsoft Corp also announced Ralph Haupter, CEO of its China unit, will be promoted to the new corporate vice-president of its Asia Pacific region. In his new role, Haupter will be responsible for all of Microsoft's product, service and support offerings across the region, and accelerating the company's transformation from a traditional software vendor to a cloud service provider.
