Only four cities from last year's list remain in the list of the top 10 Chinese mainland cities with the largest number of avid readers this year, the website 163.com reported. They are Wenzhou, Kunming, Taiyuan and Changchun. In last year's list there were more southern cities (eight). But this year, there is a balance between north and south.
