Going beyond the ramp

Fashion shows are typically all about the clothes, but Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld chose to remember the people behind the scenes. Associated Press reports in Paris.

The stars mingled with the tailors, dressmakers and seamstresses at the Chanel couture fashion show on Tuesday which saw Karl Lagerfeld transport the behind-the-scenes ateliers to the catwalk floor for their 15 minutes of fame. It proved that the fashion industry does, occasionally, give back the love.
