Vietnam exports more fruit, veg to China

Exports of Vietnamese fruits and vegetables to China saw a growth of 77.3 percent year-on-year in the first five months of 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said on Tuesday. During the five-month period, Vietnam exported more than $692 million worth of fruit and vegetables to China. China remained the biggest export market for Vietnamese fruits and vegetables, according to the ministry. Exports to China accounted for 70.4 percent of Vietnam's total market share in the five-month period.
