Iceland's players were greeted as heroes on Monday when they returned following their astonishing run to the Euro 2016 quarterfinals in France.
Their plane flew low over the capital city of Reykjavik before landing at Keflavik airport, where fire services gave them a fire hose honor guard by spraying columns of water to create a huge rainbow.
Striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, who scored a consolation goal in Sunday's crushing 5-2 loss to host France in Paris, said he was happy to be home.
