New uniforms for PLA Rocket Force

The military has introduced a new uniform for its rocket force from July 1, adding color to its "07 Style" uniforms. The uniform is dark green, adding to colors chosen in 2007 for ground forces of the People's Liberation Army - pine green, the navy's dark blue and air force's deep blue-grey. PLA uniforms have undergone a series of redesigns since the military rolled them out in 1950, and the latest change is the most thorough, systematic and smooth of all the efforts. The PLA Rocket Force was established on Dec 31, 2015, but traces its roots to July 1, 1966, when it was known as the PLA Second Artillery Force.
