The Communist Party of China is a window into Chinese society and its thought processes. It is reflective of the collective leadership exercised in China. It also characterizes the way the Chinese leadership has guided the country over the past six decades on the path of socio-economic development for its people. The CPC and major political parties in Pakistan have long held close ties, and carried out meaningful discussions through regular meetings. This initiative has strengthened collaboration and institutionalized dialogue between the political parties of Pakistan and the CPC. Through this close contact, leaders of all major political parties in Pakistan strongly believe that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and its larger counterpart the Silk Road Economic Belt, are blueprints for regional connectivity and prosperity in an area of around 3 billion people in Asia.

MASOOD KHALID, Pakistani ambassador to China

The impressive results which China achieved over the past years were realized under the leadership of the CPC. It initiated and forged the path of development, reforms and opening up, building closer ties with other countries, among which is Serbia. Serbia and China share many common interests and goals, and cherish friendly ties between our peoples, which was proved during the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Serbia a few days ago. The CPC keeps close ties with a few parties in my country. Since 2008, before becoming the ambassador to China, on a couple of occasions I had the opportunity to visit China. Each time I was warmly welcomed and learned a lot about this country. Since 2012, the cooperation has intensified, especially during the visits of President Tomislav Nikolic and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, when we worked hard together to enhance cooperation between our two parties - the Serbian Progressive Party, today's major party in Serbia, and the CPC - and, of course, between our two countries.
