Beijing hosts major internet conference

The China Internet Conference will open today in Beijing. Organized by the Internet Society of China, the three-day event is expected to attract experts from fields such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence. Last year, China unveiled the Internet Plus strategy to integrate mobile internet, cloud computing, big data and the internet of things with traditional industries and fuel economic growth.
