ICBC elevates Yi Huiman to chairman

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd said its President Yi Huiman has been appointed as the new chairman, pending board and regulatory approval. The appointment of Yi as the bank's chairman and Communist Party secretary was announced internally on May 16, following the retirement of Jiang Jianqing, who has led the country's biggest lender for 16 years.
