Shangri-La promotes events planning reward program
Four properties of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Beijing launched the Shangri-La Events Collection and Golden Circle Event Planner Rewards with a grand reception on Tuesday.
The reception featured a jazz band, acrobatic pole performance, dramatic bartending, a lucky draw and four showcases by the participating hotels: China World Hotel Beijing; China World Summit Wing Beijing; Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing; and Kerry Hotel, Beijing.
The meeting and events loyalty program are designed for travel professionals, providing them with greater flexibility as well as rich personalization and experiences.
"Our philosophy is simple - we don't just help planners organize events; we enable them to design their own experience with the best of Shangri-La," said Christopher Chia, vice-president of Shangri-La International Hotel Management Ltd and general manager of China World Hotel, Beijing. "We take care of the smallest details and deliver beautiful and personalized events that are engaging, polished and productive."
This program will offer travel professionals and any Golden Circle member the ability to earn elite status and earn and redeem points for groups, meetings, conferences and events across the Shangri-La, Kerry and Hotel Jen portfolio.
With nearly 100 hotels located around the world from Lhasa to London, Shangri-La offers one of the most extensive collections of inspired meeting and event venues, boasting more than 300,000 square meters of dedicated event space.
The new meetings and events loyalty program dovetails with Shangri-La's "Loyalty Is" conversation and ongoing loyalty transformation, which aims to make Golden Circle one of the most attractive and meaningful hotel reward programs.
