Czech PM hails strategic partnership

China and the Czech Republic are setting their sights on further cooperation in high-end manufacturing, finance and people-to-people exchanges to promote their strategic partnership.

China will boost cooperation with the Czech Republic in civil nuclear power and high-speed railways, raise the quality of high-end manufacturing and explore third-party markets, Premier Li Keqiang told visiting Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka on Friday in Beijing.

Sobotka is also attending the third Local Leaders' Meeting of China and Central and Eastern European Countries, a three-day event which started on Friday in Tangshan, Hebei province.
