Hospital offers free eye examinations
A total of 35 poverty-stricken patients with eye diseases were provided free full preoperative examinations by the staff at Alex Eye Hospital. After the examination, 22 of them required cataract surgery, which was provided free by the hospital. Liu Xiaoqiong, CEO of the hospital, said that Alex Eye hospital had already completed more than 8,000 such free operations.
