Cabinet to brief on national debt

The State Council, China's Cabinet, will hold a briefing today on the nation's debt situation. Li Yang, chairman of the National Institution for Finance and Development, will address the media in Beijing. The Ministry of Finance said last month that the country's overall government debt level remains controllable and there is still room to further increase debt.
