Heads of news organizations in Poland said on Tuesday that the country's people have a growing interest in China and the coming state visit by President Xi Jinping will have a great impact on the social and economic development of both countries.

Polish news agency, newspaper, radio and TV station representatives made the remarks at the China-Poland Media Dialogue, hosted by China's State Council Information Office in Warsaw, the country's capital. Fifteen heads of Chinese and Polish news organizations participated in the forum.

Xi will make state visits to Serbia, Poland and Uzbekistan from Friday to June 22, the Foreign Ministry announced on Monday. It will be Xi's first state visit to Poland, one of the first countries to establish diplomatic relations with China after the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949.
