Real estate investment cools slightly

Growth in China's real estate investment cooled slightly in the first five months of this year to 7 percent, compared with 7.2 percent for the first four months, official data showed. The country's fixed-asset investment grew 9.6 percent in the first five months, 0.9 percentage point lower than that recorded in the first four months, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.
