Cabinet releases three major policy decisions

The State Council, China's Cabinet, decided at its executive meeting on Wednesday to establish the Fuzhou-Xiamen-Quanzhou National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone in Fujian province and the Hefei-Wuhu-Bengbu National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone in Anhui province. Premier Li Keqiang pointed out at the meeting that the new national independent innovation demonstration zones should become an important platform for the combination of high-end scientific and technological talent with mass entrepreneurship and innovation.

The State Council also decided to carry out health poverty relief projects to reduce the economic burden of medical treatment on the impoverished rural population and provide it with better medical services, as well as taking new measures to regulate the development of health and medical big data applications.
