Chinese official seeks cooperation to ensure peaceful growth, relations
Chinese top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng said the mainland has paid great importance to proposals from Taiwan residents for easier travel on the mainland, and will put forward measures soon.
Yu spoke at the opening ceremony of the eighth Straits Forum in Xiamen on Sunday.
