Elevators fail 85 times in 2 months

Residents have been losing confidence in the 12 elevators that serve their residential community in Zhabei district after they were the subject of repair work 85 times in two months. Each of the four 33-story buildings in the community is served by three elevators and at least one elevator has been out of service every day since March 22. The property management company that looks after the community said rough treatment from residents was part of the reason why the elevators had failed so often.
