Key decisions including better care for children
At its executive meeting on Wednesday, presided over by Premier Li Keqiang, the State Council decided to introduce measures to better protect vulnerable children, who are often victims of poverty, health problems, lack of parental care, and even human trafficking. It also decided to improve the management of scientific research funds in central government spending, and cancel the requirement for approval and verification of more vocational qualifications to help jobseekers and would-be entrepreneurs start their careers.
