2 killed, 15 hurt by falling tree

Two tourists were killed and 15 others were injured when a tree was blown over during a rare windstorm on Saturday in Jiuzhaigou Valley, a World Heritage site, local authorities said on Sunday. The wind picked up suddenly around 4 pm, destroying trees, damaging wooden walkways and displacing rocks, according to the scenic area's administration. The injured were treated at a hospital.
