The latest ranking of Chinese cities based on comprehensive economic competitiveness was released on Monday. The report for 2015 that covers 294 cities and was compiled by units under the country's top think tank, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
It is the 14th report. It also took into account sustainability and cultural development of the cities. The report notes that the top 10 cities are mainly from the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Bohai Sea area.
