Jeep Renegade

GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Co Ltd is expecting to set a benchmark for entry level sport utility vehicles with its newly launched China-made Jeep Renegade, which boasts both professional performance and sporty handling.

The newly localized SUV is sturdily designed for a safe, comfortable ride with its stiff body structure, which is made of about 70 percent high-strength aluminum.

Its Active Drive Low is the carmaker's class-leading four-wheel-drive system, which means the SUV performs outstandingly off-road in any conditions.

The Select-Terrain dial allows the driver to tune traction according to driving conditions across five settings: auto, snow, sand, mud, and rock.

The company describes the spaciousness of the interior as top in its segment, and the design means that the 422-liter trunk can be expanded to 1,137 liters when the rear seats are laid flat.

The award-winning interior design provides four themes, together with 11 exterior colors and four wheel rims, making a total of more than 4,000 individualized choices.

The infotainment system with Uconnect Live technology keeps users wired in, and the 7-inch LCD cockpit display and 6.5-inch touch screen puts digital functions right at their fingertips.

There will be also another powertrain option available soon: 2-liter natural aspiration gasoline 4-cyliner, 9-speed automatic.
