Before you excitedly unwrap that next item delivered by courier, think of how it got to you

The other morning I was driving to work when I saw a car accident. A motorcycle and a taxi had collided and the driver was giving first aid to the rider, a deliveryman, who seemed to be unconscious.

My heart sank. This was not the first time I had seen or heard about similar accidents happening. In fact I, too, have almost collided with motorcycle delivery people, who seem to pay little or no attention to traffic lights and appear from nowhere at intersections.
