By Agencies in Cairo and Paris | China Daily | Updated: 2016-05-26 07:48

An official says 23 bags of body parts has been collected, largest no bigger than palm of a hand

The EgyptAir jet that disappeared last week did not show technical problems before taking off from Paris, sources within the Egyptian investigation committee said late on Tuesday.

They said the plane did not make contact with Egyptian air traffic control, but the controllers were able to see it on radar on a border area between Egyptian and Greek airspace about 480 kilometers from Cairo.
