Deputy governor is investigated

Yang Zhenchao, deputy governor of Anhui province, is under investigation for "serious violations of Party discipline", a term often used in reference to corruption, according to the top anti-graft watchdog. The Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced the case on its website on Tuesday. Yang, a native of Anhui, was elected deputy governor of the province in January 2013.
