Nation to improve market environment

At Wednesday's executive meeting, which was presided over by Premier Li Keqiang, the State Council, China's cabinet, decided to intensify efforts to press ahead with reforms of the commercial system to create a better market environment for mass entrepreneurship and innovation.

The reforms, which were launched in March 2014, aim to simplify administrative procedures and lower the benchmarks for business registration.
