Leaders gather for agribusiness event

Senior business and political leaders from China and Australia gathered in Sydney on Monday for an event focused on agribusiness. More than 240 representatives from Australian and Chinese businesses attended the China-Australia Agribusiness Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Trade and Investment Conference organized by the Bank of China. BOC Executive Vice-President Gao Yingxin said the China-Australia economic and trade relationship had reached the "golden era". "Agriculture is a focal sector among Chinese-Australian cooperation initiatives; the reciprocal benefits and notable complimentary strength in cross-border cooperation are clearly evident," Gao said.
