By Agence France-Presse in Manchester | China Daily | Updated: 2016-05-18 07:56

A security contractor is being blamed by Manchester United for leaving a dummy bomb in Old Tafford stadium that caused the cancelation of Sunday's final Premier League game against Bournemouth.

The club is facing a multi-million-pound bill over the cancelation.

The incident at Old Trafford triggered angry calls for action. Tony Lloyd, who serves as Manchester mayor and police commissioner, branded it "outrageous" and a "fiasco".
