New Delhi seeks tycoon's extradition
India will ask the United Kingdom to extradite business tycoon Vijay Mallya to face charges of money laundering and bank demands that he pay back more than a billion dollars in loans extended to his now-defunct Kingfisher Airline, the Indian finance minister said on Wednesday. Reports said London has made it clear that it cannot deport Mallya for he has entered in the country on a valid passport.
