Factory struck by Navy fighter jet
A fighter jet from the East China Sea Fleet of the People's Liberation Army Navy crashed during a night training mission on Wednesday in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, Navy spokesman Liang Yang said. The jet struck a building and caused a fire at a factory that makes sewing machines at around 7:30 pm. The pilot had parachuted to safety. No deaths or injuries were reported, as the plant was empty, the spokesman said. The cause of the accident was under investigation.
