Ruff idea of how to win

Coach Lindy Ruff knew his Dallas Stars needed to do two things on Monday if they wanted to force a Game 7 in their Western Conference semifinal against the St. Louis Blues and avoid going home for the summer.

Ruff was looking for a quick start to take the home crowd out of the game, and he also knew Kari Lehtonen needed to be at his sharpest between the pipes.

The Stars accomplished both.
