Lenient sentence for molester
A man, surnamed Guo, who sexually harassed a 15-year-old girl in Tongzhou district has been jailed for a year. Guo received the relatively lenient sentence after his attorney pleaded that the molestation had only lasted a minute. The incident took place in May last year when the defendant was drunk, the court heard. In addition to his jail sentence, Guo was ordered to pay 5,000 yuan ($770) in compensation.
