Seeing a different side of life
IN HIS OWN WORDS
"Photography has brought me a lot of fun.
The streets are a treasure trove for me - a kaleidoscope. I'd feel guilty idling at home, if not spending time with my friends on the street. In fact, we elderly people learn photography, merely for fun, like a form of disease prevention. The key is to be happy. I've made many friends while taking pictures. They have broadened my horizons, increased my knowledge and enriched my life. I am very fond of taking pictures of ordinary people. I see it as kind of Thanksgiving, a reward. Every time I would take the photo back to the person himself, I would like for these ordinary people to be captured on permanent data. And also I learned to appreciate the warmth I experience when taking the pictures. You can experience human nature only when you open your heart, something I try to do when taking pictures."
