Scientific rocket launch a success

Chinese scientists celebrated the launch of Kunpeng-1B, a sounding rocket, from Danzhou city at 2 am on Wednesday, according to the National Space Science Center. Kunpeng-1B fulfilled its mission of taking measurements in the upper atmosphere that will help with research into future rocket sounding, high-speed flight and space tourism, it said.
