Work progresses to free 11 miners
Rescuers are pumping out water in their quest to free 11 coalminers trapped in a flooded mine in Tongchuan, authorities said on Tuesday. Sixty-seven workers were underground when the Zhaojin mine flooded on Monday. Fifty-six managed to escape. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
