University tutor resigns after posts about Chinese students

By Xinhua In Sydney | China Daily | Updated: 2016-04-20 07:53

The behavior of a University of Sydney tutor has been labeled as "completely out of line", following posts made about Chinese students online.

Wu Wei resigned from his position as the business school's head corporate finance tutor on Monday after posting a number of derogatory social media posts insulting students from China.

Students in Wu's class created a petition condemning the remarks, which were mostly made last year on Chinese social media outlet Weibo.
