208 killed by armed group

An armed group attacked and killed 208 people in Gambella regional state of Ethiopia, on the border with South Sudan. The Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation reported that the armed group infiltrated into Ethiopia through the South Sudan border. Communications Affairs Office Minister Getachew Reda said the attackers were members of South Sudan's Murle tribe. Getachew said Ethiopian security forces killed 60 attackers.
