Programs to show institute's growth

A series of documentaries showing the exchange of Chinese language and cultures with the Western world will premiere on China Central Television's documentary channel on Thursday. Produced by Hanban, or the Confucius Institute Headquarters, the documentaries will tell stories about how the Confucius Institute, during the past decade, played a role in accelerating exchanges between China and other countries. The history and development of some other countries' global language and culture institutes, such as the British Council of the United Kingdom and Goethe Institut of Germany, will also be shown in the documentaries.
