Coach resigns over rape conviction
The head coach of Hungary's swimming federation MUSZ, Laszlo Kiss, resigned on Thursday after it emerged this week that he served time for a gang rape conviction more than 50 years ago.
The move follows revelations on Tuesday on a news website about Kiss's jailing in 1962 for his participation aged 21 in the rape of a young woman with two other swimmers the previous year.
Kiss, a trainer since 1965 and the federation's head coach since 2000, reportedly served just 20 months of the three-year sentence. The 75-year-old coach went on to guide swimming great Krisztina Egerszegi to a record five Olympic gold medals between 1988 and 1996.

Ibrahimovic sees life on big screen
Never one to shun the limelight, Zlatan Ibrahimovic claimed on Thursday he could make a film about his life and portray it as a 10-part saga just like Rambo.
"There are talks but nothing has been decided," the Paris Saint-Germain star told Swedish business newspaper Dagens Industri.
"Lots of other people do films about me, my life and make money but it's obvious that if the subject of a movie is me then I should have control.
"There are talks in progress. We can make a lot of films about me. It would be like Rambo I to Rambo V - we could do Ibracadabra 1 to 10."

63-year-old woman tossed by ex-champ
A former lightweight boxer was charged with assault after authorities say he put a 63-year-old woman in a semi-headlock at a bar, drank some of her beer and then threw her to the ground when she went outside to call police.
Former International Boxing Federation lightweight champ Paul Spadafora won the vacant IBF belt in August 1999, and suffered his only professional loss just 2 1/2 years ago after struggling to mount a comeback since serving time in jail.

WADA extends Kenya deadline
The World Anti-Doping Agency has given Kenya a final deadline of May 2 to bring its program in line with the global code or risk an international ban.
Kenya missed its second deadline this year on Tuesday, when an independent compliance review committee decided Kenya's anti-doping program was still "not in compliance" with the global code, WADA said in a statement on Thursday.
Unless Kenya passes doping legislation and formally adopts regulations for its new national anti-doping body by next month, the review committee will ask WADA's board to declare it non-compliant, WADA said. The WADA board meets in Montreal on May 12.
